Amidst rising inflation and new challenges facing Filipinos, SNPP continues to articulate and advocate for the needs of 4Ps beneficiaries to the House of Representatives and the Senate. SNPP has served as a resource speaker for the Senate Committee on Social Justice, Welfare, and Rural Development, the Senate Ways and Means Committee, and the House Committee on Poverty Alleviation in technical meetings and hearings held in April, May, and July.
In these events, SNPP reiterated the importance of planned interventions for Conditional Cash Transfer graduates and clarifying the electricity bill discount for 4Ps recipients, and advocated for removing transaction fees for 4Ps reward withdrawals.
