Filipinos have preconceived notions that government programs are used to sway public votes, but SNPP highlights the poor’s capacity to think critically about such programs. SNPP has continued town hall meetings and buzz sessions (pulong bahay) in communities to elevate the impoverished’s awareness and critical evaluation. Partnering with Bisto Poyekto and LENTE Philippines, SNPP conducted these sessions in Marawi, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, and Bohol. The sessions educated constituents on the 4Ps Substitute Bill, the Expanded 4Ps Law, and the broader political and economic landscape.
